MAXI CLEAN COMPANY LIMITED is presently the leading firm in cleaning and solid waste management in Mauritius. Maxi Clean Co Ltd was established in year 1990 and is the first Company in this field to obtain ISO 9001:2000 Certification. In December 2009 we have obtained the ISO 9001:2008 Certification to better set the platform for excellence in Solid Waste Management.

The company has been registered as Scavenging Contractor with Ministry of Local Government and Solid Waste Management.
The first contract for waste collection and disposal from the housing estates was allocated to us by the Ministry of Local Government in the year 1990 and afterward several contracts was allocated by different Local Authorities, Municipalities and District Councils.
The objectives of the company are to provide end to end solutions in solid waste management in an endeavour to keep our environment clean and healthy, through the efficient use of resources and new technology, in both Mauritius and Rodrigues islands.
From these early beginnings the company has developed to the point, where it has a staff complement of approximately 750 people and a fleet of more than 90 vehicles. The staff is structured around a well design team, who are fully equipped to cater for a wide range of activities.
Our management team has always been conscious of the need for quality of service, for which we have gained both the enviable reputation as well as high incidence of customer loyalty.
The different contracts from the Ministry of Local Government & Outer Islands and other local authorities bear testimony to the quality of our work and the credibility of our company.We have invested massively in capital items such as plant, equipment and employees and have laid much emphasis on training of our staff. All the above factors together with the effectiveness of our communication system have contributed highly in the success of our numerous undertakings.
We are presently well equipped with all necessary vehicles, plants and equipment to cater more works in the solid waste field. We are recruiting more workers to cater for the various sites under our responsibility.
1991
In the year 1991 additional contracts was allocated to the company for refuse collection from housing estates.
During the last 32 years we have been involved as one of the major enterprises in the waste management sector. The following list provides an indication of the wide experience that we have acquired.
1993
Since 1999, the administration has been moved to a new building built on a plot of land of 1 hectare 12P at Grande Rosalie, D’Epinay, Republic of Mauritius and constructed a new building of an area of 5000 sq ft. Within the same building there are offices, control room, workshop for vehicles, store and parking for the vehicles.
2003
In October 2003, the company has acquired an additional plot of land to the extent of 1 hectare 37 p that is adjacent to the existing land owned by the company. The two plots of land (1 hectare 12 P and 1 hectare 37 P) have been merged together and block walls have been erected with a control gate at the entrance. More parking areas have been created for parking of vehicles.
Following our new expansion & development programme, we have extended our existing building infrastructure to one level at our Head-Office at D’Epinay. We have moved to our new office in December 2008. Our newly designed infrastructure is more sophisticated in terms of:
New modern technology tools (e.g CCTV camera, more PCs, more internet facilities, Internal Mail System),
New office equipment (e.g, fax machines, photocopy machines)

Mr. Deepak Kumar Bundhoo is a highly qualified professional, aged 51. His career started in the year 1990 at Maxi Clean Company Limited. In a career span of 32 years, he has held several key positions in Maxi Clean Co Ltd. At present he is one of the Directors –responsible for the Finance, Marketing and Administrative Sections in Maxi Clean Company Ltd
Late Mr. Nandesswar Bundhoo
Twenty-nine years at the service of Maxi Clean Company Ltd – He has been actively involved in the promotion of social and voluntary activities both at Regional and National level – The success of the enterprise is above all the result of his vision and his commitment to the concept of continuous and making best use of Management resources in all quality matters.

Since 1990 at Maxi Clean Company Ltd – He has been the director of Maxi Clean Company Ltd since the foundation of the company – He has largely contributed in the consistent progress of the company – The success of the enterprise is also the result of his vision and his commitment to quality.
